A Chinese turquoise glazed 5-spouted vase with a 6-character Qianlong mark and of the period. The turquoise glaze is embellished with bats and lotuses among floral tracery. Dimensions are: 7 1/2 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 19.1 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Significant chipping to glaze. Provenance: From a private collector in Northern California. The National Palace Museum in Taipei has A similar 5-spouted vase with Yongzheng 6-character mark under the collection number 001606-N000000000 (fig. 1). A similar vase but with celadon glaze and a 6-character Qianlong mark was also sold at auction by Sotheby' s London on May 13, 2015, Lot 149.
