A Chinese famille rose and wood grain-ground vase dating from the Republic Period. The tall, rectangular vase features a 6-character mark on the bottom and inscriptions on the sides. The front and back depict figures in a landscape scene, while the frame is surrounded by bats and ruyi clouds. Dimensions are: 8 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 21 cm tall X 11.4 cm wide.
