A watercolor and ink screen painting on silk by Jiang Tingxi, cut into a set of ten hanging scroll paintings. The painting, which has one seal, depicts birds and flowers in a landscape with a phoenix. The scrolls are housed in a wooden box with two drawers, each accommodating five scrolls. It is on silk backing with silk dowels. Dimensions are: each measures 68 in. tall X 17 in. wide; 172.7 cm tall X 43.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Each scroll shows staining and repairs. Provenance: From Mrs. Helen Ling in the Washington DC area, collected in Singapore prior to the 1980s. Mrs. Ling owned an antique shop in Shanghai in the 1950s and was the first antique dealer selling to the Zuellig brothers, owners of the Meiyintang Collection. She also introduced Edward T.
