Description Corning, NY. Limited Edition of 10. Sculptured and engraved crystal monolith depicting one of the mysterious, giant stone heads found on Easter Island. The head is deeply impressed within the crystal; beside it are inscribed a map of the island and a line of still-undeciphered hieroglyphs. Easter Island, located in the South Pacific, 2,350 miles west of Chile, was named by the Dutch navigator Roggeven on Easter Day, 1722. From the collection "Islands in Crystal".
