注脚
清乾隆/嘉慶 青玉雕五福臨門筆洗The thick, sturdy walls and combination of auspicious motifs stylistically links this vessel with several others reliably dated to the Qianlong period. The naturalistic rendering of wufu (lit. five bats) in combination with the lingzhi sprigs offers a visual display of good wishes. A smaller lingzhi jade vessel also with bats formerly in the collection of Colonel J.B. Sherwood was sold at Sothebys Hong Kong, 16 May 1989, lot 94.
