SHRIMP MODELED EWER, SHIPWRECK ARTIFACT, 15TH/16TH CENTURY, with a bulbous body and sides centering native carp swimming amidst marine foliage beneath a lotus petal collar, enclosing a nicely detailed mantis shrimp form neck with curved body and back supporting a basket-shaped mouth while its claws clutch a serpentine spout, opposite a curling worm form handle, raised on lotus petals decorated flaring circular base.
