Description Bronze Burma, Shan Period 18th century Dimensions: Height 30 cm Weight: 2685,7 grams Seated Buddha on a high reversed lotus throne with circular base. The Buddha is forming the bhumispharsa mudra and is seated with legs crossed, dressed in a robe covering the right shoulder. The round face is framed by elongated earlobes, a gentle smile is playing the lips and the eyes are downcast. A beaded line sets of the curly hair topped by the ushnisha. The back of the statue is flattened. Two small hooks are attached to the base of the throne in the front.
