Description Bronze fire-gilt Tibet , 14th century Dimensions: Height 12 cm Weight: 302,4 grams Buddha seated with pendent legs on a throne with four legs, the feet resting on a protruding lotus bud and openwork backrest. The throne is decorated with incisions. The Buddha is forming the dharmachakra mudra, the turning of the chakra wheel. A sash with dotted pattern covers his right shoulder, he is slightly leaning to the back with a smiling face, eyes downcast but open. Elongated earlobes frame the face, the black curls cover the head and ushnisha and a third eye spots the centre of the front head.
