Description Bronze India , 17th century Dimensions: Height 7 cm Weight: 304 grams Seated Ganesha on a lotus throne attached to a double platform with beaded rim. One knee is raised up while the other is planted to the ground. He has four arms holding his battle hatchet, his broken tusk, sweets called laddu balls and possibly a rosary, lotus flower or noose. The snake wrapped around his big round belly is clearly recognisable. He is wearing a conical headdress and reaching for the laddu sweets with his trunk. The face's detail is rubbed off.
