Description Bronze fire-gilt , semi precious stones insert Nepal or Tibet , 14th century Dimensions: Height 15 cm by 8,5 cm Weight: 470,6 grams Buddha seated in lotus position with legs crossed on a double reverse lotus throne with beaded rim. The Buddha is gesturing the bhumispharsa mudra with his left hand touching the earth and he is holding a little vessel in his right hand placed in his lap. A robe with beaded rim is covering the right shoulder and reaching to his ankles. Elongated earlobes frame the round friendly face and a five-pointed tiara with stone inlay in the centre is adorns the head. In front of the Buddha is the shape of a vajra sunken into the ground.
