Description Bronze India , 19th century Dimensions: Height 15 cm Weight: 581 grams The two Hindu deities standing on a thin surface with an open-work aureole at the back. Both have four arms, Shiva is missing one hand. They are dressed in dhotis and garlands and jewellery is visible. Shiva is holding attributes like the trident, while Parvati is holding a lotus flower and a gesture with her hand in front of her chest. Their faces have bulging eyes and thick lips and they are wearing conical headdresses. The details of the attributes is hardly visible due to rub off. There's a small animal standing between them, either representing a bull or a horse.
