Description India Bronze , 17th century Dimensions: Height 21 cm Weight: 808 grams Nandi the bull reclining on a three-tiered decreasing pedestal with decorative incisions. In front of the bull is a small lingam representing Shiva. Nandi is adorned with garlands, holster and a blanket. Shesha, king of all Naga serpents is rising above Nandi forming a protective hood over the divine bull. The snake is decorated with fine incisions and a lotus bud tops the head of the serpent. The bronze can be separated into three pieces.
