Description Bronze India , 10th to 11th century Pala Dynasty Dimensions: Height 15,5 cm by 12 cm Weight: 1061 grams A Vishnu shrine with a platform on feet. Vishnu is standing in the centre on a double reverse lotus podest. He has four arms and is holding his attributes a mace, a discus, a conch shell and lotus seeds. He is wearing a short, striped dhoti and the sacred thread covers his chest and a garland hangs above his knees. His consort Lakshmi is standing to his right on a lotus podest in tribhanga pose holding a big lotus flower. The consort to his left side is missing from the ankles, but was probably Bhumi.
