Krishna is standing on a circular podest, the lotus petals have been diminished by heavy rub-off. Krishna is holding his hands to his lips as if playing the flute, standing in tribhanga pose with left foot crossing over the right shin. A many-headed Naga serpent is fanning out above his head, forming a protective canopy over him. The two consorts to his sides are also standing on lotus podests, both wearing striped dhotis and conical headdresses. Each of them is holding an object in one hand, one arm is gently lowered to the side. Behind them is an archway with detailed open-work design and the dharma wheel and discus is incorporated. The middle is topped by the victory banner of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, heralding the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.
