The robe covers his lower body and is fanning out underneath his ankles. Only a strand is wrapped around his neck and hanging down at the back of his shoulder. He is showing the dharmachakra mudra, setting the wheel of teaching into motion. The head is comparably big and round. The lips are small and smiling, the nose realistically-looking and broad, the eyes are closed and the pulled-together eyebrows create an almost squinting look. A dot is placed between the eyebrows. Curls cover the head, a lotus bud symbolises the ushnisha. The earlobes are elongated. The statue is hollow.
