Description Stone West-Tibet , 12th to 13th century Dimensions: Height 17 cm by 14,5 cm Weight: 3281 grams Buddha seated in lotus position wit his hands showing the dharmachakra mudra inside of an alcove framed with beaded rim. He is seated on a double reverse lotus throne and besides it are two seated lions with curly mane. The Buddha is wearing ornamented garments and opulent jewellery. Two disciples are seated next to the alcove, both forming the abhaya mudra in front of their chests. Their hair is done up in a hair bun. They are seated in front of lined pillars. All of it is topped off with a pointy arch decorated with ornamental shapes. The back of the piece is flat.
