Description Bronze Tibet 13th to 14th century Dimensions: Height 21,5 cm Weight: 937 grams A kadampa stupa in bell-shape set off by a beaded rim and two lotus flower rims. Two lines decorate the dome-shaped base followed by the square-shaped fence called harmika decorated with fine incisions. Then follows the spire consisting of 13 disks representing the steps of Buddhas enlightenment. A parasol wards off evil powers and a beautifully designed lotus bud tops it all. The stupa is still sealed and a double vajra symbol is incised on the bottom. Stupas contain relics or sacred texts and figurines.
