Made in South Africa by Slate Craft. The Brutalist style layout of multicolored and textured slate is punctuated with a minimal application of copper inlay. All tied together in an outlined frame of cherry wood.
This console table was created as a one off design by a Dutch artist working in South Africa and dates from the mid-1980s. Most likely crafted by V. Ramburrem or Paul Kingma. H: 29; W: 56; D: 19 3/4 inches.
Condition: Some cracks in the slate tile work.
