Five unique medallion from the Kennedy era. Two are from the January 20, 1961 Inaugural ball (stated such on the verso of each, one in a silver toned metal, the other in a gold toned medal). One adorable gold toned elephant wearing a dashing set of eye glasses (rather unique in that the elephant is usually the symbol of the Republicans however this one wearing glasses may be a ironic twist implying they need glasses to see what is going on?). A medallion on a bracelet for Lyndon Johnson's Inaugural ball, dated "January 20, 1965", and a silver toned medallion with the verso of "Democratic Party of Cook County, Reception and Dinner, April 28, 1961, Richard J. Daley, Chairman" Each is approximately 1" x 1", the set is in excellent condition and is accompanied by two of the original boxes for Kennedy's Inaugural ball.
