Jack Ruby Signed Checks and Document, with Related Items, 4 Signed A small archive of items relating to Jack Ruby, Lee Harvey Oswald's killer. Includes four documents signed "Jack Ruby". The first is a check, measuring 8" x 3", Dallas, Texas, dated July 30, 1953. A Mercantile National Bank at Dallas check No. 126, making a payment of $12.00 to Coca Cola Co. With cancellation punches and deposit stamps on verso. The second is a bank promissory note, measuring 9.25" x 4", Dallas, Texas, dated November 21, 1955. A Republic National Bank of Dallas note No. 97619, promising to making a payment of $2,300.00 to the bank on February 20, 1956. With a large, purple "RENEWAL" stamp at the right, slightly overlapping the end of Ruby's signature, along with additional notations in blue ink and pencil. The third is a check, measuring 8.25" x 3", Dallas, Texas, dated March 10, 1960. A Bank of Services & Trusts check No. 56, making a payment of $25.00 to Manuel Zapota. Also signed "Joe E. Sleten." With a red "PAID" stamp on front and an additional deposit stamp on verso. The fourth and final signed document is a Statement of Financial Condition and Other Information Form, measuring 8" x 10.5", Dallas, Texas, dated September 20, 1957. A partially printed and typed financial document, reporting on Ruby's taxes and income. With information on Ruby's nightclub Vegas. Signed and dated on the last page.? Accompanying these four signed documents is a printed color photograph of Lee Harvey Oswald from jail, sporting a black eye and a cut on his forehead, along with a souvenir piece from one of Jack Ruby's tuxedo shirts. The fabric piece is attached to a card with a photograph of Ruby in police custody and information on the shirt and it's sale by Earl Ruby, Jack's brother. The signed documents have light wear and toning throughout, with the checks having stamps and cancellation punches as mentioned.
