A late Derby Duesbury period hand painted potpourri vase, circa 1810, of compressed ovoid form with twin acanthus handles, painted with a band of flowers between gilt moulded bands, raised on on a square foot, 15.5cm high (lacking cover)
Footnote:
A gummed paper label on this vase indicates that it was part of a Derby porcelain exhibition in London, 1973.
Condition: Lacking cover, rubbing to gilt in places, evidence that base has possibly been restuck at stem, evidence of restoration to one handle.
