Two near identical Meissen figure groups, late 19th to early 20th Century,?each modelled as two putti holding a mask with a kitten emerging from the mouth, a bird-cage propped on a rock beside, set on oval rocky bases with moulded edges, 14.5cm high (some faults to both).
Condition: The first has chips to fingers and toes of putti, firing fracture to bridge of mask's nose, firing fracture to base at back, small loss to bird cage, losses to foliage, chips/losses to putti robes, nibbles to foot rim.? The second has significant losses to bird cage, loss to a finger, tiny chips to toes, losses to foliage, loss to robes.
