A Chinese painted pottery figure of a male tomb attendant, Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD), modelled standing and wearing?a close-fitted tunic and trousers, his hair tied back in a knot and with right hand raised to clasp a staff, now lost, painted in colours, 45cm high (surface burial deposits, colours faded and degraded).
