A mid 19th Century walnut and marquetry ormolu mounted credenza, probably French, the top with burr walnut book-matched veneers and rosewood cross-banded edge, the front with boxwood stringing to frieze, ormolu swag mounts, square sectioned pillars and applied acanthus mounts, the central door inlaid with a panel of marquetry depicting a musical theme with ribbon decoration to upper half, the side doors with lattice inlaid marquetry, all doors opening to reveal fitted shelves, raised on a plinth base with ormolu beading, 106cm high, 137cm wide, 45cm deep
