The Kawazu gake (Kawazu entanglement) is a throw that is believed to have been named for Kawazu no Saburo Sukeyasu (died 1175) who legend has it defeated Matano Goro Kagehisa (dates unknown) in a bout staged before Minamoto no Yortomo (1147-1199). ).
