An excellent doucai high stem cup with red yellow and blue lotus flowers. A six character horizontal mark is at the bottom of the stem cup, indicating a Chenghua Emperor reign origin. However, this cup was likely an imitation commissioned by Yongzheng Emperor, who was also known to commission copies of works from previous dynasties which he admired. Dimensions: 9 cm height, 7.3cm diameter, 4 cm foot diameter. Provenance: Origins: Property of a Hong Kong collector from 1960s, thence by descent.
