The blue, yellow and manganese decoration consisting of three seraphims alternating with pairs of crosses; attachment in metal chain.
7,5 x 7,5 and 9 x 7,5 cm
Provenance: Italian private collection.
This kind of object was hung on the altars and near the lamps to prevent rodents and insects could damage the oil of the lamp. The subject of seraphims and crosses is recurrent, testifying the contacts that the Armenian community had in the past with the Latin crusader states.
