Description A 'SATSUMA' CERAMIC TEAPOT
Japan, Meiji period
Circular section, a small twisted spout and two rings on the shoulder to which it is tied a woven wicker handle, the decoration in rich polychrome and gold consisting on the body of two large cartouches with figures reserved on a ground of flowers, signed 服部香 (?) 玉山造 (Hattori (?) Gyokuzan sei).
