Rare Royal Worcester aesthetic teapot and cover of double sided form, modelled as a satirical take on Oscar Wilde and the aesthetic movement, the female side with lily, the male side with sunflower, their mutual arm and limp wrist forming the spout, the other the handle, signed Budge, titled "Fearful consequences through the laws of natural selection and evolution of living up to one's teapot". Printed puce mark, dated 1882.
