A group of four professionals' canes Various dates 19th/20th century Comprising a silver and ebonized wood jeweler's walking stick, the handle releasing to reveal a series of twenty-four numbered brass sizing rings, the enlarged brass ferrule a mandrel; a tin and ebony tinsmith's cane, the handle opening to reveal a nesting series of nine tin funnels, each ending in a different shape; a brass-mounted ivory and oak woodworker's walking stick, the shaft unscrewing in three places to hand drill, gimbals, foldable serrated handsaw, and foldable caliper, the handsaw marked with a maker's mark and "Chassaigne," missing ferrule; and a Victorian brass-mounted briarwood cane, converting to an iron saw, no longer functional, the iron marked "HOLTZAPFFEL & CO. LONDON." (4).
