A group of four canes pertaining to games and leisure Various dates late 19th/20th century Comprising a brass-mounted porcelain and hardwood checkers walking stick, the faux marble glazed porcelain handle unscrewing to reveal a checkers set comprising a gilt and lacquered rolled cane chess board with red and black agate pieces fitted onto a brass stick with turned wood finials; an English sterling silver, ivory, and macassar dice walking stick, the handle enclosing three miniature dice, with horn ferrule, the silver marked with indistinguishable maker's mark, Birmingham, 1883; a brass and maple pool cue walking stick, the handle unscrewing to reveal compartment storing pool cue tip, which can screw on to end of walking stick when enlarged brass ferrule is unscrewed; and a silver-mounted ebony-inlaid bone and hardwood walking stick, the silver apparently unmarked.
