A group of four animal canes Various dates late 19th/early 20th century Comprising a Victorian malacca cane, the handle in the form of a dog's head with silver-mounted ears and eyebrows, glass-set eyes, and carved horn snout; an English silver, ivory, and ebonized wood walking stick, the ivory handle carved in the form of an elephant, the silver marked Hall & Fitzgerald, Birmingham, 1921; a burled wood cane, the handle carved in the form of a dog's head with pin-set eyes, carved "M.CASIMIRO" and "CAWALIS" to shaft; and a silver-mounted carved ivory and bamboo cane, the ivory handle carved in the form of a roaring lion's head and snake, with niello silver badge stamped "STERLING," with horn ferrule.
