Tant qu'ils versaient un tribut au Naga Apalala, les paysans de la région de Swat étaient certains de faire de prospères récoltes. Du jour où ils cessèrent de lui rendre hommage, orages et inondations ravagèrent leurs champs. Le Bouddha ici debout à gauche, soumet et convertit le Naga. Les anneaux enroulés il coiffe la tête d'un personnage agenouillé qui remercie le Bouddha.

As long as they paid tribute to the Naga Apalala, the peasants of the Swat region were sure to have prosperous harvests.
