A Kakiemon saucer dish
Edo period (1615-1868), late 17th centuryPainted within the brown-edged foliate rim in iron red, green, yellow, blue and black enamels with a bird perched on a stem of bamboo while another flies past prunus, maple and pine trees above banded hedges. 22cm (8 5/8in) diam.
