first half 19th century, the steep-sided bowl with broad, flared rim, decorated to the interior with alternating designs of courtly figures and auspicious symbols amid floral sprays, all within floral and gilt borders, the exterior with individual floral motifs.

Condition Report **There is a well-integrated professional repair to the rim and to one side of the bowl with over-glazing, gilding and painting. Repaired white ground on exterior of bowl is slightly yellowed. There is also a small chip to rim and resultant hairline crack at site of repair.
