Description Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century, of bombé shape with double loop handles, the body having two opposing reserves of silver and gold inlay, one depicting a sinuous dragon among scrolling clouds and waves, the ocean sprays delineated with silver beads, the other showing a phoenix with outspread wings and long tail feathers, pontil mark on base; on an associated wood stand measuring 2-1/2 in. high
