Der Dekor besteht aus Schutzgeistern und Kriegern, im obersten und untersten Register aus anthropomorphen Figuren. Rot-weiss gestreifter Randabschluss mit schmalen Ikatbahnen. Mit Aufh?nge?sen.
Provenienz: Alte Schweizer Privatsammlung, ca. 1990 in Sarawak erstanden (keine Belege vorhanden).
A PUA KUMBU CEREMONIAL CLOTH. Indonesia, Borneo, Sarawak, Iban, early 20th c. 200 × 81 cm. Warp ikat of handspun cotton in red-brown hues of natural dyes. Depicting guardian spirits, warriors and anthropomorphic figures. The edges finished in red and white stripes. With hanging loops.
