清道光 五彩山水圖鼻煙壺 《道光年製》款ProvenanceRobert Kleiner, 30 March 2000來源Robert Kleiner, 2000年3月30日The depiction here suggests the small islands, ports and forts which stand between Guangzhou and Whampoa Island on the pearl River. Whilst this scene is found in other media, particularly, oil paintings and watercolors produced for a primarily Western audience, it is seldom seen on porcelain snuff bottles. However, it is found on the works of the early Lingnan School of inside-painted snuff bottle artists like Gan Xuanwen, who worked between 1815 and 1823. For an example, see Bonhams, Hong Kong, 28 November 2011, lot 53.
