Southwestern American Indian decorated bowl by Edna Leki, adorned with crushed turquoise chips and eight very large Zuni fetish carvings with feathers, each attached to the vessel with sinew. Edna Leki was the daughter of Teddy Weahkee, an important figure in the evolution of Zuni arts & crafts. Edna Leki learned to carve from Teddy and followed his style almost exactly. This is evident in way the fetishes are carved and adorned with offerings. Leki's bowls were crafted circa 1960s-1980s, in the same manner the earliest recorded fetish bowls were made back in the 1800s. Size: 6 1/2 x 10 in. Please note that all sales are final. No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
