A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of lama Tsongkhapa seated in dhyanasana on a double cushion throne covered by two blankets, engraved with flowers and foliage. Right hand in vitarka mudra, the left resting on his lap carrying a lidded jar. His right side flanked by a lotus stem. Sealed bottom, circa 1800. Weight 1087 g. H. 15 cm. Provenance: From a Danish private collection. The submission of bids on this lot number requires the prior registration of a valid debit/credit card, presentation of photo ID and the payment of a deposit of 50.000 DKK on request. Registration of debit/credit card, photo ID and deposit is due no later than the 27th of November.
