A Chinese blue-ground gauze silk 'Nine-dragon' robe. The garment with central split, embroidered in gold thread with nine dragons among woven clouds, bats and Buddhist symbols, all above a tall lishui border along the hem. Guangxu 1875–1908. Full length 277 cm. W. 121 cm. Not finished. Provenance: Danish private collection based on two generations' stay in China 1885–1945. The submission of bids on this lot number requires the prior registration of a valid debit/credit card, presentation of photo ID and the payment of a deposit of 50.000 DKK on request. Registration of debit/credit card, photo ID and deposit is due no later than the 27th of November.
