An interesting 19th century ottoman silver mounted Yatagan in its scabbard. The hilt with small “ears” is decorated with florals in high relief and the straight single edged blade is circa 51 cm long marked with silver inlaid script on one side of the ricasso. The blade is in a wooden scabbard covered in black leather with a large iron chape.
