Description A Japanese mixed metal moonflask dating from the Meiji period. The moon flask is mainly gilt bronze and features engraved leaves and silver flowers. One side panel is engraved iron inset and features relief set with gold and sterling silver; the other panel is engraved copper with gold and silver inset. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall X 6 inches wide; 19.1 cm tall X 15.2 cm wide. Weight: 150 grams. All measurements are approximate.
