branches and a three tiered stage below, on naturalistically carved legs, 63cm high, 77cm wide and 44cm deep Provenance William Braidwood (1857 - 1938) The founder of The Craigengower Cricket Club in Hong Kong in 1894. This Scottish headmaster began his post at The Victoria Boys School in 1890. Games of cricket were played each Saturday and were specifically run to encompass all nationalities and religions.Sport for all was part of the ethos of Braidwood and this visionary was well remembered by the club. Now in its 126th year The Happy Valley based club is the second oldest in Hong Kong. The following lots 192 to 211 are from the family and thence by descent. Condition Report: Available upon request
