Indien, wohl Pala, ca. 12. Jh. H 10,1cm. Auf einer doppelten Lotusbasis in lalitasana sitzend dargestellt, K?rper fein und naturalistisch modelliert. Seine Rechte in abhaya Mudra. Von beiden Seiten ist er mit Lotusblumen, die an seiner Schulter blühen, gerahmt, mit seiner Linken h?lt er einen der St?ngel, der als ein Gestell für das kundika Gef?? dient. Er tr?gt ein dhoti sowie mehrere Halsketten, Armreife und Fu?ketten. Auf seinem Kopf eine hohe Krone mit Lotusblume. Mit Resten der Vergoldung sowie blauer und roter Bemalung! Verzierung weitgehend abgerieben, intakt. Adornment mostly rubbed off, intact. Traces of original gilding, as well as blue and red pigments!
