Description The melon opens to reveal on one side a man sitting on an armchair underneath a willow and on the other side a lady sitting on a stool and a pekinese dog underneath peony branches by a rock, both scenes executed in openwork. To the outside a gnarled stalk with curled tendrils, leaves, and attendant fruits. Small chip to the inside rim.
