circles, probably of the period, with scalloped, slightly everted rim and lotus basal moulding to the bowl, painted to the interior with a crab amidst sea anemones below floral branches and a foliate rim, the exterior painted with fish swimming amidst anemones over a petalled lower border with flowers, old paper label to base inscribed 'Kang Hsi 1662-1722', 5 7/8in. (15cm.) diameter.
