A Japanese lacquered tabletop cabinet, late 19th century. Width 30 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The cabinet is structurally sound but it does have numerous small losses to the cane work. This is particularly evident along the front top edge and around the door panels. The sides of the piece also have cane losses to the extremities. The doors are not warped and close as they should. All drawers are clean and in good order, all handles are present. There are some losses to the lacquer but nothing significant. The rear panel has some losses to the canework and there are scuffs around the base moulding.
