Of circular form, decorated in famille verte enamels with a design of two phoenix, one perched on one leg in a terraced garden, the other overhead, surrounded by large peony and chrysanthemum blooms, the rim with a fine border containing six narrow ovoid cartouches each containing either a bird, fish or shrimp, the reverse decorated with four floral sprays, the base glazed and with a double circle in underglaze blue.
