The flattened oval body raised on a spreading rectangular foot, cast in relief with four registers of tight abstract curl patterns bordered by thick bands detailed with spiral work, the panels detailed with triangle-work with gold overlay, each narrow side similarly decorated and with a taotie mask suspending a loose ring handle, the waisted neck with ruyi-head design. Period: late Ming/early Qing. Height: 34 cm.
